The lodge is self-catering, but guests can ask the host to cook dinner. A braai pack is available on request. Breakfast and lunch options are limited; guests should bring their own provisions, charcoal, and matches.

The lodge is close to the N1 highway, but traffic noise can be heard at times. Follow the property's directions, not Google Maps, to avoid getting lost.
